Citadel
⚡ Quick instructions — captains, artifacts and how to read your bonuses
  1. Get your real numbers first. Select all the captains you will take to the citadel, then send at least one unit of every troop type you plan to use (Griffin, Corax, Vulture, Royal Lion, monsters, mercenaries, catapults…) as reinforcements into a fort — not as an attack. The reinforcement report lists, group by group, the Strength % and Health % bonuses your troops really have. Those are the numbers to type here, row by row (and in the Siege box for the engineers).
  2. The First Striker's health is what you pay with. The plan is built so the guard hits land on the First Striker (the group with the most total health); its losses are the price of the attack and depend on its Health %. A group marked Absorber may take some of the later hits on purpose, but it is sized to lose nothing. So if any other group — the Absorber included — loses units in the real battle, something is off: either a bonus typed here does not match your report, or the simulation is wrong. Send the battle report so it can be fixed.
  3. Losses are an estimate, and an upper bound. The simulation ignores the random double damage and double attacks of your troops, which only shorten the fight: in the real battle you should lose the predicted number or fewer.
  4. Health comes first. Losses are damage taken ÷ health per unit, so every point of Health on the group that absorbs the hits removes losses directly, while Strength only lowers the counts. Equip artifacts and gear that raise Health of Flying troops, Health of Guardsmen / Specialists (whichever your First Striker is) and Army Health; then Strength of Flying troops; engineer Strength only shrinks the catapult stack.
  5. Captains. Wu Zetian or Brunhild (Strength & Health of flying troops — the whole citadel line is flying); Aydae (Guardsmen: Corax, Griffin) or Logos (Specialists: Royal Lion, Vulture) depending on your First Striker; Ramses II / Sofia (Army Health) or Beowulf (Army Strength & Health). Ingrid only for monster-based plans, Brann only if you are short of catapults.
  6. Then set your levels, type how many Ariel you own (0 if none), press ✔ Apply and copy the plan. Details and sources in Instructions below.

⚙ Your Troops

Set your max troop levels (G/S/M/E): the troop families you can field appear below (one row covers every tier sharing the name — Corax I–II, Vulture V–VII…). Enter the Strength/Health bonuses from your battle report for each row and for the siege engines, type how many Ariel you own, then press Apply. The calculator picks who to field and in what numbers. 🛡 Enemy squads
Squad health from Joe's Journal vol. 13; names from real totalcalculator.org attack plans; unit cards from the wiki/TBCounter; strength = health ÷ 3 (reproduces those plans' losses exactly). A squad's bonus applies to the listed troop type or monster category (e.g. Life Dragon +50% vs giants hits a Kraken); units of other types are only hit as the healthiest group. If your scout report shows different numbers, type them here: the simulation uses them and they're saved with the preset. Reset to model

🐙 Absorption Candidates
The 20 healthiest units your levels give you — monsters, mercenaries and trained troops together — ranked by the card health, without any bonus, plus whatever is in your roster. Threshold = minimum health bonus so that one unit survives the first full hit from the strongest guard squad (its bonus vs that unit's type/category included). Hits accumulate over the battle, so the zero-loss verdict comes from the full simulation, not from this table alone.
